21. Allora il re Sedekia ordinò che Geremia fosse custodito nel cortile della prigione, e gli fosse dato tutti i giorni un pane dalla via de’ fornai, finché tutto il pane della città fosse consumato. Così Geremia rimase nel cortile della prigione.
