6. Allora i Gabaoniti mandarono a dire a Giosuè, al campo di Ghilgal: "Non negare ai tuoi servi il tuo aiuto, affrettati a salire da noi, liberaci, soccorrici, perché tutti i re degli Amorei che abitano la contrada montuosa si sono radunati contro di noi".
