7. I cinque uomini dunque partirono, giunsero a Lais, e videro che il popolo, Il quale vi abitava, viveva in sicurtà, al modo de’ Sidonii, tranquillo e fidente, poiché nel paese non c’era alcuno in autorità che potesse far loro il menomo torto, ed erano lontani dai Sidonii e non aveano relazione con alcuno.
