32. Geroboamo istituì una festa nell' ottavo mese, il quindicesimo giorno del mese, simile alla festa che si celebrava in Giuda e offrì sacrifici sull' altare. Così fece a Bethel per sacrificare ai vitelli da lui fatti; e a Bethel stabilì i sacerdoti degli alti luoghi che aveva eretti.
