17. Allora il re ordinò alle guardie che lo attorniavano: "Volgetevi e uccidete i sacerdoti dell' Eterno, perché sono anch' essi dalla parte di Davide e perché sapevano che egli era fuggito, ma non mi hanno avvertito". Ma i servi del re non vollero stendere le mani per colpire i sacerdoti dell' Eterno.
