16. Quando tutto Israele vide che il re non gli dava ascolto, rispose al re, dicendo: "Che parte abbiamo noi con Davide? Non abbiamo alcuna eredità con il figlio di Isai! Ognuno alle sue tende, o Israele! Ora provvedi alla tua casa, o Davide!". Così tutto Israele se ne andò alle sue tende.
