11. Ma Jehoshabeath, figlia del re, prese Joas, figlio di Achaziah, lo trafugò di mezzo ai figli del re che erano uccisi e lo mise con la nutrice nella camera dei letti. Così Jehoshabeath, figlia del re Jehoram, moglie del sacerdote Jehoiada (era la sorella di Achaziah), lo nascose ad Athaliah, che non lo uccise.
