Inoltre Amatsiah radunò quelli di Giuda e costituì su di loro capi di migliaia e capi di centinaia, secondo le loro case paterne, per tutto Giuda e Beniamino, fece quindi il censimento di quelli dai vent' anni in su e trovò che erano trecentomila uomini scelti, atti alla guerra e capaci di maneggiare la lancia e lo scudo.
