18. In Israele non era stata celebrata una Pasqua come quella dai giorni del profeta Samuele. Nessuno dei re d' Israele aveva mai celebrato una Pasqua, come quella celebrata da Giosia, con la partecipazione dei sacerdoti, dei Leviti e di tutto Giuda e Israele, presenti assieme agli abitanti di Gerusalemme.
