I sacerdoti attendevano alle loro mansioni: così pure i Leviti con gli strumenti musicali consacrati all' Eterno, che il re Davide aveva fatto per lodare l' Eterno, "perché la sua benignità dura in eterno", ogni volta che Davide lodava per mezzo di essi. I sacerdoti suonavano le trombe di fronte a loro, mentre tutto Israele stava in piedi.
