14. Allora Davide disse a tutti i suoi servi che erano con lui a Gerusalemme: "Levatevi e fuggiamo; altrimenti nessuno di noi scamperà dalle mani di Absalom. Affrettatevi a partire affinché non ci sorprenda improvvisamente e faccia cadere su di noi la rovina, e non colpisca la città passandola a fil di spada".
