12. Davide andò a prendere le ossa di Saul e quelle di Gionathan suo figlio dagli abitanti di Jabesh di Galaad, che le avevano portate via dalla piazza di Beth-Shan, dove i Filistei li avevano appesi quando i Filistei avevano sconfitto Saul sul Ghilboa.
