16. Come l' angelo stendeva la sua mano su Gerusalemme per distruggerla, l' Eterno si rammaricò di quella calamità e disse all' angelo che sterminava il popolo: "Basta! Ora ritira la tua mano!". L' angelo dell' Eterno si trovava presso l' aia di Araunah, il Gebuseo.
