19. Se sembra bene al re, emani egli un editto reale da inserire nelle leggi di Persia e di Media e sia irrevocabile, in forza del quale Vashti non compaia più alla presenza del re Assuero; il re conferisca quindi la sua posizione reale ad un' altra migliore di lei.
