12. Il re allora disse alla regina Ester: "Nella cittadella di Susa i Giudei hanno ucciso e sterminato cinquecento uomini e dieci figli di Haman; che avranno mai fatto nelle altre province del re? Ora qual' è la tua richiesta? Ti sarà concessa. Che cos' altro domandi? Sarà fatto".
