13. Ecco il paese dei Caldei: questo popolo non esisteva neppure, l' Assiro lo fondò per le bestie del deserto. Essi hanno innalzato le loro torri, hanno distrutto i palazzi di Tiro e l' hanno ridotto a un cumulo di rovine.
