24. Dissero dunque fra di loro: "Non stracciamola, ma tiriamola a sorte per decidere di chi sarà"; e ciò affinché si adempisse la Scrittura, che dice: "Hanno spartito fra di loro le mie vesti, e hanno tirato a sorte la mia tunica". I soldati dunque fecero queste cose.
