31. Allora Finehas, figlio del sacerdote Eleazar, disse ai figli di Ruben, ai figli di Gad e ai figli di Manasse: "Oggi riconosciamo che l' Eterno è in mezzo a noi, perché voi non avete commesso questa trasgressione verso l' Eterno; così avete scampato i figli d' Israele dalla mano dell' Eterno".
