5. Egli mandò ambasciatori a Balaam figlio di Beor, a Pethor che è vicino al Fiume, nel paese dei figli del suo popolo, per chiamarlo e dirgli: "Ecco, un popolo è uscito dall' Egitto; esso ricopre la faccia della terra e si è stabilito di fronte a me.
