18. Allora Ioas, re di Giuda, prese tutte le cose sacre che i suoi padri Giosafat, Ioram e Acazia, re di Giuda, avevano consacrate, quelle che aveva consacrate egli stesso, e tutto l' oro che si trovava nei tesori della casa del SIGNORE e del palazzo del re, e mandò ogni cosa ad Azael, re di Siria, il quale si ritirò da Gerusalemme.
