9. Azael andò dunque incontro a Eliseo, portando con sé come regalo tutto quello che c' era di meglio a Damasco: il carico di quaranta cammelli. Appena giunse, si presentò a Eliseo, e gli disse: «Tuo figlio Ben-Adad, re di Siria, mi ha mandato da te per dirti: "Guarirò da questa malattia?"»
