8. Si trovavano vicino alla grande pietra che è Gabaon, quando Amasa venne loro incontro. Ioab indossava la sua veste militare sulla quale cingeva una spada che, attaccata al cinturino, gli pendeva dai fianchi nel suo fodero; mentre Ioab si faceva avanti, la spada gli cadde.
