12. Il re disse alla regina Ester: «Nella residenza reale di Susa i Giudei hanno ucciso, hanno sterminato cinquecento uomini e i dieci figli di Aman; che avranno mai fatto nelle altre provincie del re? Che cosa chiedi ancora? Ti sarà dato. Che altro desideri? L' avrai».
