9. Queste furono le città assegnate a tutti i figli d' Israele e allo straniero residente fra loro, affinché chiunque avesse ucciso qualcuno involontariamente potesse rifugiarvisi e non avesse a morire per mano del vendicatore del sangue, prima di essere comparso davanti alla comunità.
