16. ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ತಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೋತುಹೋದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಅವರು ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಾಮ್ಯ ರನ್ನು ಕರಕೊಂಡರು. ಹದರೆಜರನ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿ ಯಾದ ಶೋಫಕನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದನು.
