31. ಯೆರೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂತತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವರು ದಾವೀ ದನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಡುಕ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು; ಆಗ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಯಾಜೇರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದರು.
