2. ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿ ಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಪಾದಪೀಠದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯಾದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲು ಮನಸ್ಸಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕಟ್ಟುವಿ ಕೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
