2. ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನಾವು ಈಗ ದೇವರ ಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಮುಂದೆ ನಾವು ಏನಾಗುವೆವೋ ಅದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಾದಾಗ ನಾವು ಆತನ ಹಾಗಿರುವೆವೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆತನಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನೋಡುವೆವು.
