15. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅರಸನು ಜನರ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಯೆರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೆ ಶಿಲೋನ್ಯನಾದ ಅಹೀಯನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ಈಡೇರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
