18. ಆಗ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಕಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಗಾರನಾದ ಅದೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆ ಸೆದು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಲು ತ್ವರೆಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ರಥದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏರಿದನು.
