4. ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕೂಗಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿ ಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ--ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿದ ಅವನ ಕೈ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಣಗಿಹೋಯಿತು.
