34. ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇತೇಲಿನವನಾದ ಹೀಯೇ ಲನು ಯೆರಿಕೋವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು; ಕರ್ತನು ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀರಾಮನೂ ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅವನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗನಾದ ಸೆಗೂಬನೂ ಸತ್ತರು.
