10. ಹಾಗೆಯೆ ಅವನೆದ್ದು ಚಾರೆಪ್ತಾಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿಧವೆಯು ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಳು. ಅವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಕುಡಿ ಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡುಬಾ ಅಂದನು.
