4. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದಿವಸದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಷಿಟ್ಟೀಮ್‌ ಮರದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕುಳಿತು ತಾನು ಸಾಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಈಗ ಸಾಕು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನಾನು ಉತ್ತಮನಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
