12. ಠಾಣದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಯೋನಾತಾನನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಆಯುಧ ಹೊರುವವನಿಗೂ--ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಆಗ ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಏರಿ ಬಾ; ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು ಅಂದನು.
