26. ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ಈ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುವ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡುವದು? ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಈ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯನು ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೀಯಾ ಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಷ್ಟರವನು ಅಂದನು.
