39. ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಆಯುಧಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ವಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ--ನನಗೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವುಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋಗ ಲಾರೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಹಾಕಿ
