5. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದನು. ಕರ್ತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಯನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ನೀನೂ ನೋಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಟ್ಟೆ; ಈಗ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಂದನು.
