14. ಅಹೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದನ ಹಾಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾದವನು ಯಾವನಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ? ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅಳಿಯನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವವನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘನವುಳ್ಳವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
