23. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು ಒಪ್ಪದೆ--ನಾನು ತಿನ್ನುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ದಾಸರೂ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎದ್ದು ಮಂಚದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡನು.
