13. ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನನ್ನು--ನೀನು ಯಾರವನು? ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಯವನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು--ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು. ಈ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ನಾನು ರೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದನು.
