1 Samuel 30.15
15. ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀಯಾ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಯಾಜಮಾನನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆ ದಂಡಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
