3. ಆಗ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅನ್ಯದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಷ್ಟೋ ರೆತ್ನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಆತನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೇ ಸೇವಿಸಿದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕೈಗಳೊ ಳಗಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು.
