16. ಅರಸನು ತಮಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ ಹೋದ ನೆಂದು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನೋಡಿ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ದಾವೀದನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಭಾಗವೇನು? ಇಷಯನ ಮಗನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ; ದಾವೀ ದನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
