17. ಅವರು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಆ ತಿಂಗಳ ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳದ ವರೆಗೂ ಬಂದರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಎಂಟು ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.
