23. ಅನೇಕರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಮ್ಮುಖ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತಕ್ಕೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.
