30. ಈ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಗೀಹೋನೆಂಬ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಾಲುವೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಕಾಲುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಹೊಂದಿ ದನು.
