21. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ಹರಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು; ಅವರು ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕರ್ತ ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವದರಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದನು.
