35. ಅದೇ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಹೊರಟು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ದಂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಎಂಭತ್ತೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಎದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸತ್ತು ಹೆಣಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
