2. ಆಗ ಎಲೀಯನು ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇರು; ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸು ತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲೀಷನು--ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
